Hello, my name is Christa Rivington. I am a photographer based in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, BC. I've had an interest in photography since I was a young child. With my first camera at the age of ten I would take photos of just about anything including; rocks, the sky, animals and anyone who was willing to have their photo taken. In high school I learned about the basics of photography and took photos for the school year book. At Eighteen, I was a commercial model and for the next ten years modeled in California, Washington State and in Vancouver Canada, for such companies and Nordstrums, Holt Renfrew, Balance Fashions and Truffles Leathers. My modeling career led me to appreciate the photographer even more. In my late twenties and for approx eight years I was a feature film and commercial actress, which also started an interest in film set photography. I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, I shoot with Nikon digital cameras and primarily shoot on location.
