My name is Dan Stanley, I shoot primarily high resolution digital images of swimwear, fitness and glamour with an edge of fine art. On occasion I shoot film for selective clients. I love the creative challenge of shooting strong images with a unique style that truly defines one model from the next, or offering art directors creative directions. I started in the field of Photojournalism, so my work is inspired by interesting locations and backgrounds. Simple and strong images tend to work well for models and clients alike. I'm a firm believer that passion and fun help create a healthy life and work environment, so there's a consistently creative and fun atmosphere that I try to bring to every shoot. Satisfied clients include: Detour, Details, French Photo and Virginia Times magazines along with The Boston Globe, Virginia Pilot-Ledger Star, Syracuse Post-Standard newspapers and Greenpeace. I've also done some work with Hooters calender girls. I believe that most of my work remains strong, because life and people are always inspiring.
